Weekends

During the weekends, program participants are free to explore Trujillo and the surrounding areas.  The seaside resort of  Huanchaco is just 20 minutes away. As are the fascinating Archaeological sites Chan Chan and Las Huacas del Sol y la Luna.

Most participants travel during at least one weekend.  The most popular destination is Huaraz, which boasts the best trekking in the Peruvian Andes, with clear blue lakes and glaciers.  Others prefer to relax on the beaches around Mancora.
