The medical Spanish program in Trujillo takes place at our Electives Center a few minutes’ walk from home stay family accommodation. The program includes general Spanish and medical Spanish classes with our professional language teachers. The Medical Spanish classes are designed to enable you to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues in a health care environment.
Classes are fun and interactive with full use of role play and games. By rotating language teachers each hour, the intensive language program is broken down into manageable parts.
If you are not taking Spanish classes, you have the option to spend more time on your clinical placement during the afternoons.
6.30 pm and beyond
At the end of Spanish classes, participants often eat together at one of the many reasonable cafes and restaurants nearby or may choose to participate in their chosen activity included in our program – Gym or Salsa.
