Physician Assistant rotations take place at different hospitals in Trujillo, offering different clinical experiences. For example, Emergency Medicine at the Regional Teaching Hospital or Family Medicine at a community hospital. For those interested in a broader experience, you could consider our primary care rotation.
Regardless of your chosen area of medicine, you will be working under supervision and be experiencing health care abroad.
Most rotations take place from 8 am to 12 noon, followed by the medical Spanish program from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm. However, some rotations, including Emergency Medicine, may also involve the occasional night shift or afternoon. In these cases, you can join the morning language program the following day.
Students can spend more clinical time on weekends or during the week.
