4 or 5 day rotations

Program participants have the option of 4 or 5 day clinical placements.  Experience tells us that each person is different with some wanting as much clinical time as possible whilst others are looking from a broader experience from their time in Peru.

A 5 day elective means a clinical placement each morning from Monday through to Friday.  If you choose a 4 day elective your placement will take place between Monday and Thursday each week.

Those who choose a 4 day elective placement use the extra time in different ways. For some it is an opportunity to take a long weekend trip to go trekking in the Andes Mountains around Huaraz or Cajamarca, or to relax on the beaches of Mancora.

Other use the time for local tours or investigating around the city of Trujillo or to go surfing in Huanchaco.

Some participants also enjoy teaching at the Orphanage on Friday afternoons.

Regardless of whether you choose a 4 or 5 day placement, our medical Spanish program is still takes place 5 days per week.

The cost of the 4 or 5 day placement is the same. We simply want to give you the option to choose.
